Larry Harvey is a sole practitioner and has practiced law in the Denver, Colorado area since 1980.
Mr. Harvey’s practice emphasizes matters involving federal and state income taxation and related areas of corporate, partnership and real estate law. He has extensive experience in representing taxpayers in disputes before the Internal Revenue Service and within the United States court system with numerous Tax Court cases, as well as actions before the Federal District Court.
Mr. Larry has been involved in significant large scale audit and litigation projects conducted by the Internal Revenue Services, including the recent Colorado conservation easement project. He has extensive knowledge of IRS practice and procedures as well as substantive law of taxation.
Additionally, he has successfully represented taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service Appeals office and the Colorado Department of Revenue. Mr. Harvey has been a speaker at numerous continuing legal education programs. Also, he has been qualified as an expert witness in matters of taxation and corporate law. Mr. Harvey has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
